SPI Signal Amplifier SP901E for Addressable LED Strips, 4 Channels DC5-24V
What is the SP901E SPI Signal Amplifier?
The SP901E is a practical and versatile signal amplifier with 4 outputs that can be used to amplify the SPI signal of digital LED strips. The SP901E is compatible with all popular addressable strips like WS2811, WS2812B, WS2813, WS2815, APA102, and more. The amplifier takes the input signal and "copies" it to the 4 outputs.
When should I use the SP901E?
In installations with digital/addressable LEDs or strips with longer signal cables, signal loss often occurs. This makes the signal unusable, and the LEDs either won't work or will display noise. In practice, signal amplifiers are often needed when signal cable lengths exceed 5 meters. The SP901E can also be used to duplicate the signal from a specific point. For example, if you want the signal to first pass through a single strip and then send an identical signal to 4 strips, you can place the SP901E after the first strip and "copy" the signal to 4 separate strips.
Compatibility
The signal amplifier can be used with all digital controllers, including K-1000C, SP108E, LEC3, and others.
