DMX to SPI Decoder (Digital LED Strip Pixels)
Using this decoder, you can use a DMX512 signal to control the individual pixels on a digital LED Strip. Ideal for use in combination with our digital LED Strips: Flexible LED Strips > Waterproof / Non-Waterproof > Digital LED Strip
One decoder can control a maximum of 170 pixels, the decoder uses 3 channels (R,G,B) for every pixel, therefore a maximum of 510 DMX channels are used. If you have a bigger project, you need to use multiple SPI Decoders.
The decoder supports the following protocols: UCS1903, LPD6803, TM1803, TM1809, TM1812, WS2811, WS2801, TLS3001, TLS3008, P9813.
The digital LED Strips on our website use the UCS1903 protocol.
