RGB LED strips
LED strips with multiple colors come in various types. On this page, you will find RGB LED strips. These allow you to create any color, such as red, green, yellow, purple, etc. Since these LED strips use three colors—Red, Green, and Blue—you can produce all colors on the color wheel. The only limitation is that they do not display white or warm white very well. If you need white light, we recommend choosing an RGBW or RGB-CCT LED strip.

Why choose RGB?
With multicolor RGB LED strips, you can instantly create any ambiance you like! Pair the LED strip with a remote control or app to conveniently adjust your lighting from your couch. An RGB LED strip can display all the colors of the rainbow, making it easy to set the perfect mood. Use RGB LED strips as extra accent lighting in your living room or kitchen. They are also great for restaurants and other hospitality spaces.
What can RGB LED strips do?
- RGB stands for "Red, Green, and Blue," and by mixing these three colors, you can create all the colors on the color wheel, from purple to orange to green.
- Since these LED strips have red, green, and blue lights, they can technically produce white light as well. However, the quality of this white light is usually lower. If you need high-quality white or warm white light, we recommend using RGBW or RGB-CCT.
- RGB LED strips are best used as colorful accent lighting and are usually not suitable as primary lighting.
How to use RGB LED strips?
- To use RGB lighting, you need an RGB controller and a remote control and/or app. You will also need a power adapter of 12V or 24V.
- Our RGB LED strips operate on 12V or 24V. In some cases, choosing 12V is more practical, such as for use in a car or boat. In other cases, we recommend 24V to minimize power loss and allow for longer strips without dimming.
- Don't forget to order a suitable power adapter. Each LED strip's specifications list the power consumption per meter. Example: If the power consumption is 14.4W per meter and you want 5 meters of LED strip, you will need an adapter of at least 14.4 x 5 = 72W. Choosing a 90W adapter is a safe choice. You can always use a higher-wattage adapter, as it will adjust to the actual power demand.
- Easily attach the LED strip using the adhesive backing. For an even more professional finish, consider placing them in aluminum profiles.
